Children’s Church

“Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.’”
At the Evangelical Free Church of Wainwright, we believe the children’s ministry is a crucial part of our service.
Children, families, and the future of the church are all positively impacted by this early ministry to kids, which inserts knowledge about God and the Bible into the hearts of children from a young age.
On Sunday mornings, the children (age 3 to grade 6) start the service in the church sanctuary with their families so that they can be part of the welcoming, the opening and the first song. They are then invited to go down to the basement for children’s church.
Our program consists of three age groups: preschool, lower elementary, and upper elementary, each with their own teaching team.
The children start with singing together then break into their groups for Bible lessons, activities, snack and prayer. Our comprehensive program is a fun way to teach Bible truth and share God's love with them.
